On a personal note as a third-generation builder in the construction industry I can tell you with complete honesty: there will be challenges during this project. This is construction. No matter how much we plan, coordinate, and strive for perfection, unforeseen issues can and do arise. The difference between us and many others is simple: We don’t run from problems we resolve them. If something happens, we address it. If it was our mistake, we own it. No excuses. No deflection. Transparency and accountability are not marketing words for us they are principles. My father, God bless him, told me from the time I was old enough to understand the meaning of responsibility: “If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.” - Mark Twain It’s a simple rule to live by.
